Kiruna and Jukkasjärvi – Icehotel and Sámi heritage

Begin in Kiruna, the historic mining town of Swedish Lapland. Nearby Jukkasjärvi is home to the world-famous ICEHOTEL, rebuilt each winter from snow and ice from the Torne River. Explore the sculpted ice suites, enjoy local cuisine and experience winter activities such as husky sledding or snowmobiling through surrounding forests. For a deeper cultural experience, visit Nutti Sámi Siida, where local hosts share insight into Sámi life and reindeer herding traditions.
